Please do not book programs through this website. We are NOT offering school programs this spring but have some public programs starting June 17th and the Nature House will be softly opening June 17th (without the retail/store which will hopefully be open by the following weekend). We are looking forward to reconnecting as we re-emerge from a long three years of being mostly closed.
The Chum are Here!
Close to 18,000 Chum Salmon were counted in the Goldstream River this weekend! We are excited to share in the unique salmon migration experience with so many visitors and school groups. Please remember to respect the salmon and keep our pets away from the river. The Nature House is open 9:30-16:00 Wednesday through Sunday. Follow us on our social channels
to keep up-to-date on planned public programs and more. We can't wait to see you in the park! *Note*There are still some openings for school groups to book a visit to the Nature House and have one of our Park Ambassadors share salmon programs with your class. See the information below!

EXCITING NEWS
We will be opening the Nature House for the upcoming salmon run season. We are actively fundraising with our partners at HAT to raise the funds to cover the costs of opening for the season. We have opened registration for school groups and are watching carefully covid changes and restrictions. In the fall of 2020 we were able to safely offer adjusted programs that met the Covid requirements at that time. We are hoping that we can offer our programs in a more normal way but we are also confident that we can fall back on the way we offered programs in 2020 if we have to. See our 2020 program offerings below for those details. To send a program request jump to our program page here

The Nature House is currently closed to the public. With the ongoing COVID restrictions and our huge reduction in revenue we are assessing our ability to open this spring. Re-OPENING this weekend BOOKING SALMON PROGRAMS via email NOW for classes, homeschool groups and other groups of learners!
We are so exctied to announce that the Goldstream Nature House will be opening this weekend (Saturday October 24) with one of our Nature House Staff members available to answer questions and share information on salmon and the park. It will feel different in the Nature House as we have closed off much of our exhibit space and expanded our retail floor space to allow proper distancing for visitors. Our staff are still available to answer questions and share knowledge about the park though we have to focus the indoor space on allowing our community to help us keep our doors open through purchases and donations in the gift shop. The future of the Nature House depends on the support of our community as we are currently facing the most critical financial hardship of the Nature House's history.
SCHOOL SALMON PROGRAMS are also now being booked for November and December but will also look and feel different due to COVID safety measures. All program activities will be conducted outdoors and in the area of the Nature House so that we can create spaces without public interaction for our classes to expereince learning. Please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to book your program (we aren't able to answer our phone as frequently as we have in the past). If you have already emailed us please be assured we are working to respond to program requests now as quickly as possible and are responding in the order that requests have been received. Click here for a PDF of the Programs or click here to submit a program request via our website program page.
We thank you in advance for your shared love of Goldstream Park and the Nature House and for your compassion in helping us get back on our feet and sharing the joy of nature with all those who visit!
With Nature in Our Hearts,
The Staff and Volunteers at the Goldstream Nature House

UPDATE We Are Missing You!
Hello Friends! It has been over 2 months since we had to close our doors. In that time all Provincial Parks in BC have been closed, re-opened for day-use and shortly will open for camping. The Nature House operates without government funding and depends on donations at the door, sales in our giftshop and user-fees for our tours and program. All of these sources of funding completely disappeard and we are unable to sustain operations at this time. What does this mean for the Nature House? What will this summer bring? What will the fall look like? We all are asking these questions and worrying over what will be. We sure hope we are able to see you in the summer somehow whether it is virtually (most likely) or in person (not as likely). We really hope we are able to still be here in the future. These are difficult times. Stay strong. If you have a chance, please connect with us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/GoldstreamNatureHouse/), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/gsnaturehouse/) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/gsnaturehouse?lang=en). Sharing in the joy of nature and feeling the support of our community will help to get us through these diffcult times.
March 20, 2020
Effective immediately, the Goldstream Nature House is temporarily closed to the public in order to protect visitors, staff, volunteers and our community during the COVID-19 outbreak. Please do your part to stay safe; practice social distancing, stay home and be kind to each other. We look forward to better times ahead when we can all celebrate the joy of nature together!

Sneak Peek! Goldstream Provincial Park in the Media
One of the highlights of Goldstream Provincial Park is always a visit to Niagara Falls! Yes you heard us correctly! You don't have to jump on a plane and fly to Ontario, you just have to get yourself over to the west side of the park and walk a few minutes up Niagara creek. Known for being higher than Niagara Falls in Ontario, Goldstream's Niagara Falls is most impressive when the most water is flowing (in the winter-spring months). Goldstream's Niagara Falls is featured on the cover of the recent edition of British Columbia magazine! We know it's amazing but we are pretty happy to find out you think so too!
